Welcome to CSRA Weather and Air Quality. These weather stations are located in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA).

The CSRA is comprised of 14 counties located in East Central Georgia and 7 counties located in the Western Midlands of South Carolina, within the USA Southeast Region.

5 SEPTEMBER 2022 - The National Weather Service WFO Columbia, South Carolina (KCAE) Observations Program Leader, changed this station location designation to GRANITEVILLE 3.9 ENE.

22 SEPTEMBER 2022 - The Autumnal Equinox - Today, the entire World experienced a 12-hour day. Today marks the beginning of the FALL SEASON.

30 SEPTEMBER 2022 - Hurricane Ian propagates through the CSRA. Storm Total Rainfall = 0.13 inches. Local conditions remain MILDY TO MODERATELY DRY. Prior to this date, this station has not received measureble liquid precipitation since 10 SEPTEMBER 2022.

01 OCTOBER 2022 - SOUTH AUGUSTA station has been added to the CSRA Weather Station Network. Currently recruiting weather station hosts / observers located in McBean, Hephzibah and Harlem, Georgia.

07 OCTOBER 2022 - Since the exit of Hurricane Ian, prevailing High Pressure conditions are on tap in the CSRA. Fall season conditions prevail. Local conditions are approaching MODERATELY DRY.
